So I move back to my birth place of Spokane, WA to complete work on my motorcycle. My brother and his girlfriend were nice enough to let me stay at their house and work on the bike in his shop. Some of the bike maintenance included valve adjustment, doohickey replacement, new front fork springs and brace, new front sprockets, etc. I hope to review these modifications as we travel to see what was needed and what just looks plain cool... like the sheep skin seat cover, BAM! As you can see in the photos I had the bike stripped almost completely down. Cross your fingers she starts again.
I decided to take Highway 2 from Seattle to Spokane, as I-90 is not very enjoyable on a motorcycle. This was a mistake. The wildfires were at their peak in Wenatchee. Driving up the river I could not see the other side. By the time the ride was done it felt like I had smoked 4 packs of cigarettes.
It was great to be back in Spokane to hang with friend and family. Now I just need to get this bike back together and packed so I can head down to "The Hunting Grounds"
